Twitch chat text to speech: how to read chat out loud
Twitch has powerful chat bots, but few read chat out loud natively and for free — even less so if you also stream on TikTok Live or YouTube. Twitch TTS with TikLive TTS lets you hear chat messages without looking away from your game, camera, or the rest of your screen.
How to enable TTS on your Twitch chat
- Download TikLive TTS (free, Windows) from the home page.
- Connect your Twitch channel from the app — no OAuth or mod permissions needed, just the channel name.
- Set voice, language and reading speed.
- Turn on the anti-spam filter so repeated messages or bot commands don't get read out loud.
Why use TTS on Twitch
- Faster reactions to subs, questions and mentions without looking away from the game or camera.
- Accessibility: useful for streamers who find it hard to read fast-moving text on screen while playing.
- Real multi-platform support: if you also stream on TikTok Live or YouTube, TikLive TTS merges all three chats into a single queue — see the multi-platform chat guide.
And OBS alerts
If you use OBS for your Twitch stream, TikLive TTS also includes ready-made overlays you can add as a Browser Source: gift alerts and follower counters, with no reliance on external services or extra overlay subscriptions.
